I wish you all the very best on your upcoming surgery. I hope all the "surgery angels" swoop down to surround you and protect you. My husband and I both had wls in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 270 lbs. We feel wonderful and would do it all over again in a second. I know you will be just as successful.

Kathy, I am wishing you a successful, complication free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my Open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not doing it several years sooner. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you start your healthy new life.

Kathy, I hear ya on the waiting of the insurance....im at that point as well.....but as they say and I have foiund to be true...."Good things come to those who wait"....Just as long as we dont wait too long!!!! ALOha
