Kimberly, I am so sorry that you are having such a bad time right now. Men can be so heartless and cruel sometimes. Just keep you head high and focus on your upcoming surgery. It is so true that Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus. I wish you al the best on your surgery and pray that the Lord will keep you in his loving care. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sniff, sniff,......my Angel and I have been out of touch lately. She has been so busy with her new life (and I am SO THRILLED for her) that she doesn't get to the sight much. The last I heard was that she was down 40 lb in 2 months! YEAH!!!! She is such a Sweetie. I Love you Sherri!! If there is anyone out there that would like to be my co-angel I would really appreciate. I have a feeling that I am going to need much support and prayers before and after the 13th of Sept! Love you all..........Kim

Good Evening All........I finally have a date, September 13th. Happy Dance, Happy Dance!! I am thrilled the "fight" is over, but now other concerns start to filter in. I teach school, so I will have to take off approx 4-6 weeks. I am not sure what my principal will say......But my supervisior is on my side. She will be there to back me. I am only scared that my principal will make my life "pure He**". Has anyone else had to face this???? How did you handle it????? I don't want it to dampen my happiness for the chance for a new life. God Bless all of my WLS siblings. It is because of you and this board that I am having this surgery. Without this board I would not have had the information nor courage to start much less finish the fight. For all of the pre-op surgeries.....May God wrap his tender arms around you all. Keeping you from all dangers and harm. Best of luck on your new lives! If you have any advice, please pass it my way.......I think I am going to need it! LOL Love yo guys! Kim from Louisiana

Hello AMOS family. Well, after 5 months I finally have an approval!!!!!! I have had H*** with my primary insurance and finally cancelled them. My secondary (Tri-Care) had my paper work in hand 2 days and they approved me. I am thrilled to say the least. My surgeon's office will call on Monday afternoon with more details. I am hoping for a July surgery, but the staff said more like Sept. I start school in mid-August and my boss isn't the most understanding. Sooooo I am just waiting.....I would appreciate all of your prayers. To all pre-ops with surgeries this week, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Good Luck on your new lives. Also I would appreciate all advice, shoulders, anything that you would like to share with me! Thanks to you all.......May God Bless Each and Every one of you!! Kimber
