Brenda, in my early days post-op I ate malt-o-meal for breakfast. It has more protein than cream of wheat and went down easy. I also added egg to my broth for Egg Drop soup. Mix it up good and remember to chew if you get big pieces of egg. This is good because it also adds protein to your broth. Since I was diabetic at the time I also had diabetic Ensure for some meals. I am supposed to be Brenda's angel, but we didn't get things set up correctly before her surgery. I apologize for taking so long to post on her condition, but I couldn't track down which hospital she was in for a while. I have not talked to her personally, but talked to her neice and she says she is doing great. She came through surgery just fine. And is probably home by now, I need to try to catch up with her! Hi Brenda. Well, it's getting close, isn't it? We going under the knife on the same date. We'll be different people this time next year, thank goodness. Please take care of yourself and keep us updated as to your progress.
