Becky, I wish you the best of luck on your surgery Wednesday. I will be praying for all of us having surgery this day. I read your profile, I understand how hard it is to leave your child for this surgery. Mine is also scheduled the same day, and I also have a child (5 yrs old) that I have never been away from except to go to work. But, just think, we will get to spend healthy, happy quality time with them once this is over! God bless you!

Becky, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine in November 2000, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life
