"I had wonderful nurses and nursing assistants, with only one exception. The nurse assistant that I didn't like was rude, wouldn't listen to my doctor's instructions and was too busy complaining to me about my doctor's decisions to help me with anything. But again, this was only one person out of many that I dealt with and everyone else was wonderful. I had to share a room that was really small. To get me and my IV to the bathroom (which happened every 1.5-2 hours) 7 things in my room had to be moved. I couldn't get to the phone and for my visitors to answer the phone the almost had to climb over the other patient in the room. I understand that it is easier for the nurses to have patients closer together, but it seems like the rooms that are shared should be layed out in such a way that it is possible to move in the room. My poor mother spent my entire hospital stay moving around furniture."

"I definately recommend Dr Quioco. He is an intelligent and kind man that takes what he does very seriously. He has been there for me whenever I needed him through this process. It is obvious that patient care is his first priority. His office staff is very nice and always willing to help. Both Dr Quioco and his staff are very prompt about returning calls and handling any situations that arrise. Dr Quioco believes in using common sense and your own instincts in after care. He treats all patients as individuals which I think is very important because all of us are different and handle the surgery and recovery differently. I get the impression that Dr Quioco has never believed anything just because a textbook or piece of paper has told him to. He is very cautious about seeing what works first hand and making sure that everything is done in the safest for each patient. He is very cautious not to push anyone into surgery and makes very sure that the patient has no other options before pursuing surgery."
