Thanks Lynn and thx for calling me with her room #. I also called her. She has great spirits considering she just had the first surgery 8 months ago. She is in GREAT hands!! Dr. Gonzales also did my revision on 6/29/04 (my first surgery was 8 months prior (oct 2003)) so I know she'll be fine. Sip away on those protein shakes Trina and call me if you need me. Trina had a revision to her original surgery on Tuesday August 3rd. The doctor had to close a hole the size of the end of your finger between the staple line on her new pouch(stomach) of the first RNY surgery. The new surgeon used the new RNY instead of the older one which the first surgeon uses (it is now outdated but I guess he doesnt know)but even with that being the case there was still a GAP between the staples! She went thru the surgery fine but afterwards she started to hemorrhage. She received 6 pints of blood during the emergency surgery right after her revision, her blood pressure dropped and the JP tube was full of blood that is how they knew she was hemorrhaging and had to be opened right back up. It left her very weak. She also received two more pints on Wednesday. I saw her today (wednesday) and she is feeling better but still very sore and she has no appetite. PLEASE everyone pray for her. She has seven young children at home please think of them in your prayers also. I am her best friend and will keep you updated on her, Dr.Gonzales said if she does well then maybe she can go home on Monday. This is alot for her to go thru considering she wouldn't have if the first surgery was done correctly(maybe on other people it was but NOT on her)!! Thank you for reading this and thinking of her.

I Have really been feeling good.I went to mexico for 2 weeks with my husband.We really had a great time and I am down to a size 12.He thinks I have lost enough weight I want to loose more.Our personal life has really bloomed since I have more confidence in myself.I have really been drinking alot of protien.One reason is that i really like it..In the first picture of me you can see the blood on my shirt where I had the feeding tube taken out .It really hurt when he took it out .I hurt for 2 days he had cut my skin when he cut one of the stitches.

In my picture I weigh 180 lbs. That is my youngest daughter beside of me. I am getting to wear so many different types of clothes now. I am into a size 14 or 16 (3X)depending on how they are made. I am down from a size 24 or a size 3X. I am feeling great!

Hi Tina - Justa suggestion, but I'd get a second opinion. Leaks are no joke from what I've heard. Will keep you in my prayers

I have a leak in my stomach pouch from the staples not being close enough together and it scares me to death. I may need a 2nd operation,this is something that I want fixed right away not in 3 months as the Dr. said. My clothes are sagging and I have alot more to loose. Please pray for me. THANKS TRINA
