"I want to share with you all about my surgeon, Dr. Singh ! I knew nothing about him other than his excellent reputation as a skilled surgeon and that St. Agnes had brought him to their hospital due to his talents. My interest with him lay purely on his baritric talents as he does the surgery Laproscopticly whenever possible. I first met him and his colleague , Dr . Auerbach , at my first suppport meeting at St. Agnes hospital. He has a WONDERFUL personality, great sense of humor but very HONEST and detailed when you asked him questions. He was not going to sugar coat this surgery and hide all the hard work that will be in front of us after it is done. I was impressed with each and every Post Op person's raves about Dr. Singh's attentive bedside mannerright after the surgery.. we can't figure out when he sees his family **chuckles**!!! I am most impressed (besides his surgical talents) with the awesome team he has put together so the failure rate is very low. He immediately insists you attend support meetings BEFORE seeing him to see if this is right for you. He has a nurse bariatric coordinator , that had the surgery herself 3 years prior,a nutritionist,and a nurse psychologist.. all there to help you each step in the decision process as well as the after process. You asked for at least one negative comment,but I honestly couldn't come up with one for Dr.Singh, other than the first visit seemed rather short. I am used to most New Dr. visits having to go thru full body exams, but he took a quick peek.. answered questions, drew a diagram of the surgery. My only other comment would be he needs more help in the office to help the one person who handles the insurance woes. They are swamped with so many requests it is hard to get them all done as quickly as we want the answers !!! I would rate Dr. Singh a 10 "
