Copied from my old OH page from Sept 2004.

I am a 38 year-old single female, no children, and my goal weight is 135 bs. I'm so ready for a change. I want to be healthier and I feel that WLS is my best hope for a healthy and life. I want to have the energy to work in my garden, walk, jog, etc. My co-morbidities include High Blood Pressure, Asthma, and Sleep Apnea. I am also borderline diabetic.

2/18/04 – I attended Dr. Ross’s WLS seminar tonight. This was the second one that i was scheduled to attend. I finally made it to one. It was very informative. I called and Diane a left a message that I wanted to schedule an appointment for a consultation.

7/20/04 – Consultation with Norma – reviewed my paperwork, took a written personality test, some of the questions were way out there. It showed that I am normal, level headed, practical and diplomatic.

8/4/04 – Consultation with Dr. Ross.

8/6/04 – Sleep Study.

8/21/04 – 2nd sleep study with CPAP.

8/23/04 - I received approval from my insurance company today, Yeah!!!

8/24/04 - My surgery has been scheduled for 9/14/04. My pre-op tests and nutrition consultation have been scheduled for 9/7/04.

8/30/04 – 2nd Consultation with Dr. Ross.

8/31/04 - I received my CPAP today.

9/13/04 - Tomorrow is the day. Drinking this 64 oz of prep stuff is hard.

9/17/04 - My surgery was on Tusday 9/14/04. Dr. Ross was able to do it LAP, but he unable to get my gall bladder because of my liver. I came home today, so far so good. I'm sore on my left side but other than that everything is good. My God is an awesome God. I feel silly for being so nervous before.

9/22/04 - I had my one week follow up appointment today and I have lost 14 lbs. Dr. Ross took the drains out and I am not so sore anymore. I am so grateful my new weight loss tool. Lord thank you again for this gift.
