"Did not have him originally - I was with Dr. Coirin first but my insurance company did not recognize him as a surgeon. I was given the choice of waiting the 6-8 months to get it fixed or I could go with Dr. Coates. I did not meet him until surgery date and that was kind of weird. He was very friendly and spoke at the seminar I first attended. The office staff is very nice and helpful. I sort of feel like I am on my own now that I am post op. I had my one week appointment and then don't go back until my 1 month. I have questions still but don't know who to ask. As far as bedside manner, Dr. Coates is so busy with doing surgeries that he has his P/A's do all aftercare. I guess that is just the way it is these days. Overall I am very happy that I made the leap - I just wish I had a little more support."
