"I met with Dr. Barbara in July 2004. I was so shocked during the initial consultation that he actually took the time to answer every question. He even included my husband and my best friend. They were able to have all there questions asnwered as well. The consultation was for over an hour. He even used pictures, and drew diagrams on a dry erase board to make sure everything was completely understood. I have full confidence in my surgeon. The insurance I had at the time did not cover him. I chose to wait until after Januar0y 2005, to change my insurance to be able to have him perform my Open RNY. I wil be having surgery 03/2005. The only bad thing I have to say about the experiance so far, is Ruth his assistant is slow with returning calls. But I imagine she is a very busy person."
