The last 7 monthes have been full of  alot of emotional pain but in the end I am happy to tell you it is all worth it. I started this journey at 313 lbs. Today I am 178 lbs. I have LOST 135 LBS.  I have also in the process, lost my husband. I am finding the new me alone but loving the entire journey. 

I will update again soon.

First of all I wanted to say "Thank You" to everyone who has emailed me over the last several monthes. I have truely learned that you are all wonderful friends.  Your friendship  has gotten me through the most difficult time in my life.

I get my surgery, I am nervous( in a good way) and hopeful, and most of all grateful. The love and support from both my online friends and family is awesome. I could not have made it this far without all of you. I WILL see everyone on the other side. Thanks for everything.

2 Days to go. I am so excited that I feel like a kid in a toy store. I feel more nervous( in a good way) than I was on my wedding day. It feels hard to believe that this day is actually almost here. This is going to be a great year. HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

THE INSURANCE COORDINATOR SENT MY FILE TO THE NEW INSURANCE COMPANY THAT I GET ON JAN. 1 AND THEY APPROVED IT UNDER 2 DAYS. I LOVE MY LIFE. I WAS SURE EVERYTHING WAS GOING TO BE DENIED AND I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO START OVER.  SO MY DATE REMAINS JAN. 2, 2008.

I had my pre-op today and I am really frustrated because when I went to pre-register, I found out that my insurance is changing on the 1st and my date is 2nd. I am so upset but I am praying for a miracle.

I WILL HAVE MY WLS ON JANUARY 2, 2008. I AM SO EXCITED THAT I COULD SCREAM. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS A 6 MONTH WAITING LIST AND IT COULD BE LONGER AND I GET IN SO SOON. THIS IS AWESOME.

I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL FRIDAY SO THAT I CAN ASK HOW LONG THE WAITING LIST IS FOR WLS. I WANT A DATE. I KNOW I SOUND LIKE A SPOILED GIRL BUT I AM NOT GOOD AT WAITING ONCE I FEEL SO CLOSE.

When I joined OH back in Feb. I was dealing with a previous denial for WLS.
 I can not believe how the time has flown and all the old goals met  and the new ones that I've made. If someone would have told be 9 monthes ago, the change in me, even before WLS, I would have laughed at you . I have lost over 25 lbs. (That is good for me.). Dealt with my depression, dealt with my family issues, and are still working on my food issues.(I think that will be a life long battle.)
