"My first impression of Dr. Halmi was wonderful. I went to the Staples Club support group meeting and soon after scheduled a consultation with Dr. Halmi. He explained the surgery in detail, answered all of my questions, even when I interrupted him, and made my husband feel more at ease. Right then and there my husband and I decided that if the insurance will cover the surgery, I will have it done. Office staff was okay. He has a structured aftercare program in place with his dietician. He did address the risks of surgery when we asked. I think surgical competence is better than bedside manner but both are good. I'd rate him a 9 out of 10."
