I did not know what to expect from my first consult and I was afraid I was going to be lectured to or preached at...What I got was almost an hour of Dr. Jean-Baptist's time that he used to not only ask me why I was there but to also give me the pro's and cons of both Lap band and Bypass surgeries. rnHe took the time to ask why I was opposed to RNY and was able to address my fears while respecting my choice. rnAfter meeting with him I met with John the nutritionist and I can not say enough good things about him. He never spoke down to me or preached at me"
