"Dr. Anez seems to be very structured and everything in his office, including him, is very organized (albeit busy!). He's soft spoken, but thorough and willing to answer your questions readily - and I had a few. He speaks about every aspect of the procedure from pre-op care to after care, as well as the risks. From reading many many obesity forum posts on various websites, it seems that so many people aren't well informed by their doctors prior to surgery. Dr. Anez not only tells you everything, item by item, he provides a pamphlet about the surgery which covers everything from soup to nuts.
I've spoken to a number of patients who have had Dr. Anez for their surgeon and have yet to hear anything negative. That's one of the main reasons I chose him.
