At the 11th hour Sonja's surgery was cancelled. Only God knows why. He made the decision that it was not time.She was spiritally, emotionally and Psycologically ready for her big day; however He had other plans for her. Please continue to pray for my dear friend and sister that she remains calm and confident that God is still in control and in the Driver's seat and that the plane will not take off until the ice is off the runway

Sonja, Congratulations and best wishes for a smooth and speedy recovery! Don't forget to take a pillow and/or a Bari Buddy with you to the hospital, you won't be sorry that you did! You need the pillow for all kinds of comforts from coughing to side support and frankly sometimes the hospital pillows just aren't really great. Also inquire with the hospital about whether a fan will be available to you, if not and permitted, take one with you. The combination of the narcotics and the leg cuffs they use to prevent clots makes many people very very hot! bright blessings to you in this part of the journey and much success too!~Caroline O.--
