Needing a hand book

Jun 16, 2009

I wasn't going to blog but I thought this could actually help to get all my feelings out and I have a whole lot to get out.Looking through different profiles I ran across one stating when having WLS a hand book is not given along with this wonderful tool. I am a person who needs directions to follow. I read directions and follow instructions very well. I just feel so lost and a failure already. I look at all the wonderful people who had the same surgery I had and lost 50+lbs during their first month. In 4 days I will be at my 2 month anniversary and I have only lost 30lbs. Is it my destiny to be overweight? I have my next check-up in July and my doctor assured me by then I would have lost another 50lbs which would be combined at 70lbs. How will I ever meet that goal? I have yet to fail anyone and afraid of doing so now. I just feel like breaking down and crying if I don't meet that goal. I'm getting depressed just thinking about it.
