Hey Shannon! I was just on OH's Surgery Anniversary page and I noticed that today is your 1st anniversary. I wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! If you haven't updated your profile lately I'm sure everyone would be very happy to see how you're doing. Plus I'm sure you have some tips or recipes that could benefit pre and post ops alike. Congratulations on your upcoming surgery and your new lifetime journey on the losing side. Right now you are probably on a rollercoaster emotionally - excited, nervous, scared.... This is normal - don't let it freak you out. Take the time over the next few days and 'center' yourself mentally - focus your mind on other things and keep yourself physically busy too. You will find that your big day will be here in no time and you will be calm and ready for it. We will be here ready to welcome you over to the losing side and support you in your journey. Hi Shannon! Congratulations on your surgery date! This scripture has meant so much to me on my WLS journey. Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
