<b>I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all. (unknown author) FROM MY HEART TO YOU~*~Hugs~*~</b>

Hello Sue - CONGRATULATIONS on the success of your surgery. Im so happy to hear that it went smoothly for you and that you are thrilled with the current results and virtually pain free.. Woooooohoooooo, how exciting for you!!!! Between your surgery and my good friend, Caroles, Im finding hope and excitement as I make plans for mine. With a little bit of luck that'll happen the first part of December. Carole said you had a FIVE hour drive ahead of you before you pull into your driveway. I hope it's a quick, uneventful and SMOOTH drive. Just in case, keep that pillow nearby to help offset any unexpected bumps along the way. I look forward to reading all your exciting details and changes as the pounds melt away, and a healthier YOU emerges. My thoughts and prayers are with you on this wonderful and fantastic journey you're undertaking....Aloha, Lei <b><i>"The key to happiness is dreams, the key to success is making those dreams come true"</i></b>

~~~ Angel update ~~~ I went up to see Sue in the hospital this morning. She is doing extremely well. We walked a few times around the floor and she did great with it. I got to see Dr. Koler today and both Sue and I took a picture with her. Dr. Koler is the one who did her surgery as well as mine back in August. It was nice finally getting to meet Sue and her spirits are good and her attitude positive. I truly believe that a positive attitude is a key factor to making this surgery a success. Sue was told by the doctor that she may be going home today too! I'm hoping for her that they will allow that. I know she has a 5 hour drive back home, but she will stop along the way to take a break from being on the road. I know what a 1 hour drive did to me and can only imagine what 5 would do for anyone else! Sue, glad to have you on the losing side!
~~~ Angel update ~~~ Well I just got off the phone with Sue a few moments ago. She sounds wonderful! She says she feels like she's been hit by a Mack truck, but otherwise feels good. She said she's been up and walking quite a bit and I know when I go up there tomorrow to see her I'm going to do my best to get her to walk with me! Sue, I'm looking so forward to meeting you tomorrow and hope to continue a and grow a friendship from this. Thanks for allowing me to be your angel! :-)

~~Angel update~~ Hello everyone! Just got a call from Sue's husband Gary. Sue came through her surgery well. They were running behind so her surgery was a little later than expected. She has started out as a lap but the doctor's saw something that didn't look right so they ended up doing an open on her instead. I'm glad they found that there could have been complications and took action to do the right thing. I was a bit concerned because I hadn't heard anything from her husband when I had gotten home this evening so I called the hospital...their "wonderful" candy stripers told me they sent her home!! Much to my surprise I worried that something wasn't right, but I couldn't have been off the phone for 10 minutes and her husband called and said she came through fine! Sue, let me be the first to welcome you to the losing side! You will find a whole new life ahead of you with joyus new surprises coming your way. Mark today on your calendar as your NEW birthday....you deserve it and you've earned it! Most importantly.....YOU DID IT!!! God speed to a healthy and speedy recovery and I'll see you Saturday!
