Ruth! Congrats on your surgery! You're headed to better health and of course smaller sizes! I also wanted to invite you to join an online email support group just for Barix patients. Both pre and post ops welcome. People in every stage of the WLS process. It's a wonderful support group full of lots of fun and friendship, and best of all we follow the Barix post op living program. Hi Ruth! I wanted to wish you much luck on your upcomming surgery!I see that Dr. Vig is your surgeon..he is mine too!!!! My surgery is August 2! I pray it will be uneventful and your recovery be speedy! Please let us know how your doing when your able to! Congratulations on your upcoming surgery and your new lifetime journey on the losing side. Right now you are probably on a rollercoaster emotionally - excited, nervous, scared.... This is normal - don't let it freak you out. Take the time over the next few days and 'center' yourself mentally - focus your mind on other things and keep yourself physically busy too. You will find that your big day will be here in no time and you will be calm and ready for it. We will be here ready to welcome you over to the losing side and support you in your journey.
