Hello all!  I just realized that I have not been posting at all!   It's amazing how busy we get and how the time just gets away from us!  

I have had a pretty uneventful recovery from my RnY.  Other than MAJOR air pocket pains for about 5 days and extreme nausea weeks 2-3, it's been perfect!  No problems whatsoever. 

I am 66 lbs down, and have reached what I am assuming could be my first  plateau.  I've not lost any weight in about 2 weeks, and have been going up and down the same  2-3 lbs.   I am okay with it and it is not bothering me...I expect these hurdles. 

The thing that is really bothering me at this point is the aging in my face.  I can deal with losing my boobs.  and the lose skin...which is really bad at this point.  But my TURKEY NECK is driving me crazy!!!  I am putting so much lotion and face cream on it, I should by stock.  LOL.  Not to mention the crows feet.  I've always looked much younger than my age, and now, without all that natural collagen puffing out my wrinkles, I feal like I look 10 years older! 

Okay y'all.  I am two days from surgery, developing a cough.  Tried of being hungry all the time.  I'm hoping that this cough does not cause me to not have my surgery.  Wish me luck! 

Okay, today is day 4 of my pre-op liquid diet.  I lost some weight the first day, and now I am up a lb.  I know some of you are going to say I shouldn't be weighing every day...it is something I've done for years and expect daily ups and downs.  But I can honestly say I didn't expect to go UP while on a liquid diet...

Finally got my surgery date....Nov 4th.  I am a combination of scared, nervous and excited. Each emotion takes a turn at being primary...lol.  Was supposed to lose 8 lbs by the time I went for my pre-op physcial, but they got me scheduled about 2 weeks earlier than expected.  I've only lost about 6 lbs since the 5th and I am worried my Dr will cancel my surgery because I didn't lose the 8 lbs.  We'll see...have my pre-op test tomorrow....
