Hi Marilyn: I dont think Peanut butter could hinder your weight loss unless you were eating a ton. I eat peaunut butter and gram crackers at bedtime and it hasnt himdered my weight loss yet.I am 3 months out and have lost 76 lbs sofar. and in 8 months I have lost 146 lbs and 9 cloathing sizes. I hope this helps you calm down about peanutbutter. Sheryl

Hi Marilyn, I just want to let you know that you didn't offend me. Most of us understand that although we would never judge others on their weight, we tend to be harder on ourselves due to our lack of self-esteem. Our self depricating humor is aimed at just our "selves". Many of us are probably guilty of this. Personally, I would never wear a swimsuit due to my weight and spider veins on my legs, but I LOVE seeing other overweight women (and men) at the pool in suits. I am so proud of their confidence (not that my opinion matters to them) and I see it as a step forward for the obese. I am sorry that I am not as strong and confident as some of you. I am definitely planning on working on this through therapy because I am sick of automatically making a joke at my own expense. Anway, most (if not all) of the people on this board care about each other and just want what's best for all of us. That was just a gentle reminder to give yourself a break and remember that you are a beautiful person no matter what the outcome of your WLS. I am really getting sappy. It is after midnight and I'd better get to bed. I am really missing posts from Sally S., Teann, and has Elizabeth K. posted recently? Debbie U. - you are a beautiful and amazing woman. Thanks for sharing your progress! TTFN

Marilyn, I don't know what would help with the infection itself, but I remember after my c-section my father told me that he uses underarm deoderant in the folds of his skin. It works under your arms so hey guess what I do everymorning before I get dressed. It keeps it dry and from itching too. try it. :) Sherry
