~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ~~~~ Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, i can say that with all the complications and everyting i had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, Im off all medications, have sooooo much more engery. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Prayers that the Lord will guide your surgeons hands, and you have a speedy recovery. . Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side. Huggs and Prayers ~~Cyndi M~~

WLS is not easy but it is so worth it Katie, the hardest part is the op and then the frist few weeks but every day/week will be better then the next. Good luck and God bless you!

Hi, Katie! I'm having surgery with Howard Lederer on Dec. 13th, a few days before you, and like you, I have a lower BMI also under 40 and no major co-morbidities. I just want you to know that Howard is a GREAT surgeon and that you are going to love him more and more as you get to know him and see how caring he is! My family can't say enough good things about him and his staff. You'll love his nurse Terri also, she's such a sweetie! Best of luck and I'll see you on 'the other side'! Our whole family is having the surgery, lol, my boyfriend Ryan had it back in March, my dad had it last month, I go in on the 13th and my mom is having her consultation with Howard tomorrow and then submitting to insurance. He calls us his 'expert family' lol Anyhow, best of wishes!
