Received an email from Leota last night and she is now home from the hospital and hopefully she will post soon. Please continue to send her well wishes and prayers as she begins her journey with a rough start and ending with great success! Much love! - Tammy

Just got off of the phone with Brian and he said that Leota had to go back into the hospital on Tuesday due to dehydration. He said she was doing better and hopefully get out today. I was a "bad angel" I lost the phone numbers until yesterday so I couldn't check on her. Please pray for Leota and her recovery from the problems she is having. - Hang in there Leota! Just got back from visiting Leota in the hospital and they wre preparing her to be discharged. (27 Sept 03) Her and her family will stay the night in Lubbock and probably head home tomorrow. SHe looked good but she said she was tired. Best wishes for a speedy recovery Leota! - Tammy

UPDATE! UPDATE! I just talked to Leota's husband he said that she was doing good and that they may keep her an extra 1-2 days because of her oxygen level being lower than they wanted. SHe is still in ICU because there aren't any hospital rooms that are empty. He said the hospital was full. Other than the oxygen level she is doing good. Thank Goodness for that!

Hi Leota, WOW! Long surgery. Every time I checked on you I was told "still in surgery". I hear you're doing well. I hope it's not too long before you're feeling well. Wow, I'm really proud of you!! God has answered all our prayers forYou & your family & will continue to do so. Thank You so much for Tammy and her updates. Without her I'd be eating myself up with worry & calling Crystal every hour for updates. God has really blessed us all!!

Just talked to Leota's daughter Crystal and she said her mom had been up walking and she was going to have X-rays done to make sure everything was alright. If everything was alright then she could have some water. She may be in a room as soon as tonight. Hang in there Leota! Your doing great lady!! I'll post more after I call later!
