Hello all, I finally heard from Laura's wonderful hubby, after major worrying on my part. She had surgery this morning as scheduled. Her hubby just got home from the hospital. Her surgery went well, took about an hour. Her wonderful sole kidney held up too (he mentioned that). She has no gas pains yet, she did 8-10 laps of walking with him. They tried several pain med's, with minimal results. So she asked them for something stronger, she is now on a pain management pump, not sure if morphine or not. As soon as the pump kicked in, she told her hubby "Ok you can go home now, I'm going to sleep" LOL - I'm sure! She is okay, but has port pain. I assured her hubby, that is normal. She is staying overnight, and if any further news, I will keep you posted. Laura's Angel~

Hi Laura!!! :) Congratulations on your second birthday coming up SOON! :) This can be a time of feeling like you are on an emotional roller coaster, but rest assured this is all normal and you will do great! :) We are all here for you! :) The post op time doesn't last forever and before you know it, you are done with that too! :) GOOD LUCK!
