~~~ANGEL FLYING IN~~~~I just got off the phone with Dee. She and Ken will be catching the bus out of Ensenada tomorrow and heading back to Austin. She told me that they would stay somewhere overnight if the trip becomes too rough. Dee is doing great! She is a bit sore and gassy, but that was to be expected. She absolutely had a blast on her trip and has many great stories to tell upon her return. Anyway, Dee is very special to us all and we are praying for her safe and speedy return to Texas. We are so grateful that her surgery was a success.

~~~ANGEL ALERT!~~~I just talked to one of the nurses at Cardiomed Hospital in Ensenada. She said that Dee is recovering nicely. We spent most of the conversation giggling at my awful Spanish! After I hung up the phone, I called Dee's mom who had talked to Ken earlier. She said that Ken told her that Dee came through the surgery with flying colors! Way to go, Dee!

~~~~~ANGEL FLYING IN~~~~~~I just talked to Dr. Aguirre and he told me that Dee did very well. Anyway, we had a bad connection and I plan to call the hospital in a couple of hours to talk to her husband. Dee is such a delightful person and it was obvious that Dr. Aguirre was charmed by her.

Dee, Your open and honest sharing has been a great gift to all of us! I know that Dr. A will take great care of you on your journey to the other side. It is almost over now, take a vacation and let yourself heal! Congratulations! Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
