Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 81 pounds!!! Good luck!

Sorry I missed your post before you left for you surgery today....I just wanted to wish you the best of luck...your post really touched me and I hate that you didn't get the calls from your "friends: but it sounds like you did get one important call and that is what really matters..Please keep us updated....

Hi Jody!! Just a fly-by before I head for bed to wish you well for your surgery today! May the Powers that Be grant you a trouble free start on your journey on the other side. In the beginning I fouhd wet washrags, spongy toothrubs, and ice chips great friends that got me thru it. Not counting the epidural and pain pump too!! LOL! Remember, to sip when they let ya, and walk all ya can. Email me if ya want! Lise
