Hi Katie. I just saw that you went to Bellin and wanted to say HI!! I also went to Bellin and Dr. Tom was my surgeon. I just missed you there as I went home on March 27, 2004. I ended up in there for 2 weeks due to a complication but was extremely happy with the competency of Dr. Tom and his staff and the staff at Bellin for all the great care they gave me. Anywho...I just wanted to say hi and hope that your journey is going as well as mine. CHEESEHEADS UNITE!!! Be good...Cap'n K-Man

Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! May God Bless and keep you close to his side as you travel this new journey. Know that you are not alone. We your AMOS family will always be here. We will share your joys, your fears, your accomplishments and the occasional downfall! Congratulations on your date. You will find this to be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself and your family. I know it was that way for me! Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side.
