I had the vertical banded gastroplasty done on Jan. 25th 2000. I have lost most of my wieght to my current weight in the first 6 months basically. I have maintain what I lost for the past 7 years. I do have trouble eating still , along with the vomiting part if I am not careful how and what I eat. I feel this surgery was good for me to get. I do at very much miss being able to really eat. Am sure soem of you know what I mean.
I did have a tummt tuck in 2001 I believe it was. I get infections easy and have a several pretty much every time I have to have a surgery done.I had my weightloss surgery done while living in penn. I have since moved back to home town near St. Louis , Missouri, last year. I am in need of plastic surgery due to much annoying lose skin. I was wondering if any one out there knows of Dr's near here that will take my insurnace which is missouri medicaid. I would not be able to self pay . I really am in discomfort due to this problem, I feel it is medically nesseccary for me to have my skin taken care of. Can anyone help!!??? Thanks , Jeanie
