Hi Debbi, congratulations on your safe journey to the losing side. Don't worry about feeling hungry. I felt hungry pretty soon after my surgery, too. I'm now 9 months post op and have lost 75% of the weight I need to lose. In the early days it's really hard to tell the difference between head hunger and real hunger but lets face it, you're on liquids, you could be hungry! Be sure to get all your fluids in, this will help while you are on the clear liquid diet. When do you proceed to full liquids? We all fear that we are going to be the one person this surgery fails for, heck, I still worry about that! *grin* Big hugs and lots of love!
