Congratulations on your surgery today! This is the first day of the rest of your life. I was banded on Feb 3 and have already lost over 65 lbs. Be good to yourself and follow the rules given by your surgeon and you will be successful! Hugs!

Good luck Kathy!! You're about to begin a whole new life, and a 2nd chance to be healthy and fit. I know you can do it! I'm 10 weeks out from a lap RNY, and I'm feeling great! I felt great in the hospital, and felt just a little sore and stiff when I got home, but all of that is long gone.... as is a whole lot of weight! You'll do just fine....just keep smiling and thinking about your future on the "Loser's Bench!"
