Victoria, Hi,my name is Libby Davis. I've tried to keep up with your story but lost track over time. I had the DS. Will be 2 years ago on July 29. I'm so glad for you. I know that you struggled for a long time to get this done. The reason I know so much about your story is because I live in Chesnee, SC. So I saw you on TV and in the papers. My highest weight was 320 and I have settled at 150. You know the scale goes up and down a couple of pounds now and then. Unfortunaltley for me I had a great deal of depression after my surgery, but I am getting help with that. I'm starting to feel like the old Libby again. Sorry about your separation. I also have some skin that needs to be removed. I have a appointment on June 6 for a consult. So we will see how that goes. You are a very beautiful woman, but you were before. Hi Victoria, I was just looking at some of the profiles on obesityhelp.com your profile connected with me. First, CONGRATULATIONS on your weight loss. You truly look WONDERFUL!!!!! Well I had the Lap RNY on 3/27/03 and the day of surgery I weighed in at 341lbs. Well today I'm almost 9 months post-op and have only lost about 65lbs since surgery. I exercise about 4 days a week, I drink over 60oz of water, I get in about 90gms of protein and I take my vitamins every day. I do all of the above but I'm still a very very very slow loser. Because of your success, I just want to know if you can share with me what is a typical day like for you? hi victoria - i just wanted you to know that when i saw the picture of you and your daughters i actually cried. it is such a beautiful picture. i am almost 8 months post-op and i am down to 178 from from 297. i have never taken a family picture with my husband and 4 year old daughter, but you have inspired me to go ahead and get our picture taken. thank you and congratulations on your weight loss and take care of those beautiful girls!

Hi Victoria! This is Evelyn, the young lady who was with her mom at Dr. Strickland's support group tonight. It was such a pleasure to both meet with you and to visit your page here on obesityhelp.com. You are certainly a beautiful lady. I hope you have wonderful fun jumping out of a plane this weekend! Victoria is now on the losing side her surgery lasted a bit longer than expected her husband told me the doctors had a bit of a hard time re-attaching her intestine other then that all went well and as a precaution they have her in ICU for the nite but should be moved back to her regular room sometime tomorrow . Pkease sign her page and welcome her to the losing side.

UPDATE ON VICTORIA'S SURGERY !!! I talked to Victoria's mom on the phone. She reported that Victoria came through surgery just fine, but Dr. Strickland has put her in ICU over night just to keep an eye on her. She should be back in her room 515 again tomorrow. Praise God that Victoria had a good surgery and is doing well. Let's continue to lift her up to The Lord in prayer as she recovers. God bless you all! mctesa

Victoria, Well girl ... tomorrow is your big day. I'm so glad your heart filter placement went without problems - thank God. And I know tomorrows WLS will go just as well. I will see you on Wed if I can get there before I check in to go in for my WLS at 11:15am.
