Hi Lynette, I'm also having surgery the same day! Tomorrow we start a new adventure...hooray! You will be in my prayers in the morning. "I wish for you..." Comfort on difficult days, Smiles when sadness intrudes, Rainbows to follow the clouds, Laughter to kiss your lips, Sunsets to warm your heart Gentle hugs when spirits sag, Friendships to brighten your being, Beauty for your eyes to see, Confidence for when you doubt, Faith so that you can believe, Courage to know yourself(the new one), Patience when you hit the plateaus, And love to complete your life. God Bless you! --

Hey Lyn, Good Luck this week mine was last week on the 15th. I am doing well. Not too sore from incisions. I also have the lap band. And there were few complications. I feel pretty darn good. Some tiredness. But a little each day is the answer there. I was a smoker so if you smoke stop now . It will help with the anesthesia recovery. You'll need to cough and breath deeply to keep those lungs going. I had a small collaps but am doing fine. And let those gases out. They cause chest pain and that is because they use co2 to open your tummy up. Or at least make it ballon to see. I think this was the way to go. versus the other way. I feel good. I'm not hungry and i'll go to my postop thursday the 23rd. Your'e gonna be fine and jump back in no time. Good luck and I'll be thinking of you. Shawn McCarrell Bristol Ct.
