Hiya David, Yes, I'm encouraged by my weight loss as little as it is. Hopefully soon I'll be under 300 lbs. It's probably been at least 10 years since I've been under that weight.. wow. I guess you're already there, congrats!!! I'll continue praying for you that your leak is gone. Love ya sweetie.. God Bless.. your littermate sis!

Hi David, I went to the doctor today and I've lost a total of 27 pounds. It's not a whole lot but it's good for me especially since I haven't been able to exercise a whole lot. How are you doing? I hope you're feeling good and are able to eat/drink something soon. Hugs from your older sis :)

Hiya David, I won't know how much weight I've lost until I go back to the doctor on Monday, the 21st. I don't have a scale at home and at this point I don't want one. At the last weigh-in I had lost 18# and honestly don't feel like I've lost too much more. I'll let you know on Monday. That is SO FANTASTIC about your 50 pound weight loss. Congratulations! I hope you're feeling better and will soon be able to eat and drink. Love ya lots little brother! Big hugs--

David, First, thanks for writing back to me. Second, I'm so sorry you are having such a hard time and are still unable to eat or drink since surgery on December 6, 2001. It must be horribly frustrating to be on just IVs for this length of time. What is your prognosis? I never had a leak test so I'm not sure if I'm leaking or not, but I guess by now I would know something. Please know that I'll continue to lift you up to God and I'm sending you warm hugs and best wishes. I'm writing this as an update so that our WLS family also lifts you in prayer to God. (PLEASE WLS family write to David and mostly talk to God on his behalf!) I love you sweetie and I really hope you start feeling better soon. Your "older" littermate. Hi David, How are you doing? I lost 13 pounds in my first week but honestly now I think I'm gaining. I won't be weighing again till the day after xmas but I just feel like I'm eating too much! I really hope your surgery went well and that you're recovering nicely! Big hugs from one of your "OLD" littermates. :)
