Hi Heidi.... Sorry to hear that your date was delayed. I think I was in the hospital when they had the two emergencies come in. Much of my stay is a bit foggy. I do know that on the evening of June 28th there were several Drs there very late, probably until 4am (that's about the time I went to sleep again), as my BTC roommate had to be operated on in the middle of the night (she has a blockage). And I heard of at least another one that came in during the day on Friday. I'm sure Dr. Lane and the other two Dr.'s that stayed were very tired and didn't want to operate on you in that condition. I know it stinks that your date was postponed, but it is probably for the better - let me know when you find out exactly when you go in. Oh, also they told me to be there at 9:30 - I didn't actually get in until about 2:00 for sugery - which was a bit after I thought I would get in. Just thought you might want to know if you have to wait a while.

Heidi, Good luck with your surgery. I am following everyone out of BTC in Ypsi because I will be having my surgery there also with Dr. Bistalorides. I would love to hear from you after you are feeling stronger. You are in my prayers!!! Diane...

Hi Heidi! I just wanted to wish you luck. I too am having the surgery done by Dr. Lane. But I will be having it on the 26th. Maybe you will still be in the hospital while I am there. If so, and I feel well enough, I will come visit. Good luck, and if you need someone to talk to please feel free to email me. Good luck and happy loosing!!!
