Ana, Your home city caught my eye. I used to lived in long island city about 30 years ago. Still have relatives in the area. Haven't been able to travel back for the last 3 years because of my weight. Even so, when I get back I always go past the old haunts. L.IC. HIGH SCHOOL, which doesnt exist anymore. Steinway street. Hate to say it but I still miss white castle and the vendor hot dogs. Can't beat the sights and smells of new york. I am now post op 4 weeks and have lost 30 lbs. and feeling pretty good. I have open rny. First few days after surgery are usually hell but the healing takes a little time and then you are feeling wonderful because of the weight you are losing. Good luck.

Hello My name is Chasity and I am Ana's ANGEL! I met Ana at a support group meeting sponsored by our hospital and we have clicked. Tomorrow is her surgery adn I want everyone to have her in their prayers. She is about to begin a new and healthier life and I am proud to be able to share in this moment. I will kepp you all posted on her surgery. Good Luck to Ana and all whom have decided on having this surgery.
