Hi Cathy, Just wanted to say Good Luck and be safe. I had my VBG with Dr Hollingsworth on July 7 and I have wonderful success. I've lost 100 pounds already and the weight keeps melting off!! Be very careful not to do too much whenyou get home..I didn't and ended up with a hernia. Not good, so take the time to rest. Please feel free to email me when you get home. Sometimes the first few days at home are the hardest. Welcome to the other side!!

Cathy, As a person that is having WLS six days after you I asked myself what whould I want to hear this close to my surgery. I would want to hear that I am being prayed for and that my decision is the right one. I pray that your recovery will be fast and beyond your hopes. I ask that God watch over you and bring your through safely to the other side. Walk, cough and breathe deep as you being your new life. You are making the right choice to make a new life for yourself. God Bless you.

Hi Cathy, Best of luck to you on your upcoming surgery!! I remember how happy, nervous, scared and excited I was just before mine. It is the best thing u can do for yourself, it is hard in the beginning but you'll do GREAT! You're in my thoughts and prayers. P.S. I just wanted to know if you can send me some of your soup receipes, it sounds great. It is great that you are so organized and are preparing for after the surgery.
