Hi Brenna!! So glad you are persuing this surgery and it is with Dr Lauter. I MUST be his biggest fan!! I loved everything about my experience and continue to be amazed at my progress. I started with a BMI of something like 55-56, 353 pounds. I am a little over two years out now, and have lost 208 pounds. I have NEVER looked back! I would do it again in a heartbeat. Seriously, you have a wonderful doc, if you go with him. I was so thrilled I took my daughter (after she finally made the decision) to him and he did her RNY 9 months ago. She is down 113 pounds.
