2ND FILL 11/10/07

November 9th, 2007.....I'm goin for my 2nd fill in the morning. I'm nervous about goin to the office, I havent lost any more weight, although my pants are really baggy, I can pull them over my hips now. I feel like the first fill didnt work. We will see. I am walking more and want to get started doin cardio. Once my daughter gets to a better shift and can pick up the baby, it will make things much easier on me. Its comin soon, Nov 26th she will be working 9-530. I cant wait...I tried working out to turbo jam, Lexi, the baby (4 yrs old), had to work out with me. My stomache got a great work out, From laughing at her, she tries so hard and is sooo cute. Will let you know how tomorrow morning goes.

All is well here. The steri strips all fell off, everything looks great...Ive got 1 incision that is a little sore but not bad enough to worry about. Only 2 friends from work have called to check on me. The one who is my best friend has not called at all.. She didnt want to hear anything about the surgery and even went so far to say that anyone who has wls is not a friend of hers. Well, guess she really wasnt a true friend to understand its something that I need to do for me. Oh well, Im better off without friends like that anyway. My husband has been sooo supportive and wonderful. I dont want for anything. I am being waited on hand and foot. He is sooo fantastic.. II havent had any problems with food intake, everything is adjusting well. I have a follow up visit on the 8th and return to work on the 9th. Im not ready to go back, I love the weather and getting out and walking. My husband goes on walks with me and even my grandbaby loves it. We grab our cocker spaniel and off to the park we go to walk on the bike trail. Its nice and peaceful. I still havent told my family yet, I know it wont go well when I do tell them, my baby sister had the rnyx done and a quack doctor who had not performed them enough totally messed her up and she almost died. My family thinks all wls are bad. I will have to tell them soon, once they see Im losing weight and its healthy I will tell them. Im glad I did this, I feel better and know I will be living a healthier lifestyle and have more energy to keep up with Lexi, my grandbaby.
Surgery update

Sept 29th...I had my lap band. Everything went great. Im at home and walking around. a little stiff though. I havent had to hit the pain medicine much, 1 time since beining home on the 26th and that was it. Im now joining the losing side and it feels FABULOUS. The only thing that bothers me is not being able to pick my grand baby up. ITS KILLING ME!!! I cant wait to pick her up and hold her...

Had my pretests and ekg done today...Everything went great. Went to Dr Currys office for my nutrition class and final weigh in before surgery. And to have my picture taken.. I start the 2 week liquid diet tomorrow, 9/12. I cant wait until surgery day, I am soo ready.

I just got great news from Charity at Dr Currys office.. My surgery date is September 25th. Im so excited. I went running thru the house telling my husband. He is excited for me. I will be on vacation doing the liquid diet though. Thats alright, as long as I know im having the surgery, its worth it...I go for the surgery consultation on Sept 11th. I tried to turn in for FMLA and was told I cant turn in for it until 30 days before surgery, everything is falling into place.
