Hi Kevin, My name is Hally Sue. I live in the upper penninsula of Michigan. i have been working for a couple of years to get WLS surgery done and i believe I have finally found a place to do it but now I have to go all the way to California. All my info has been sent into them and I am awaiting word as to me being accepted into their program. So in the meantime I constantly look at others profiles for info, knowledge and inspiration as I am so very scared of the surgery. Anyway I ran across yours and I have to tell you that I think you are wonderful! You have a wondrerful sense of humor...especially about exercizing..You are so funny! I myself am so looking forward to being able to one day exercize again. So I just wanted you to know that I am VERY encouraged by you and appreciate your openess that you share. I was wondering if you know anyone who has had the FOBI POUCH and if so, what are their results/comments. If you want to you can E-Mail me or anyone else can too for that [email protected]. Also, do you know of any financial grants to help with traveling/lodging expenses as they say I will have to be in Calif. for atleast 3 wks. My husband is layed off and I havn't worked in yrs. due to weight. So, if you know any way I can find help please let me know. By the way, I am 45yrs. old 510 lbs., 5'6..BMI 83+. I hope you keep up the good work and the GREAT ATTITUDE and just know how VERY ENCOURAGING YOU HAVE BEEN TO ME=). THANK YOU KEVIN....Hally Sue Norton

Kevin, I just recently found this website. I am so impressed with you that I thought I just had to tell you. I guess you are hearing a lot of that, but I would think it is never too much! Keep up the good work so you can be that living inspiration to others.

Just read your profile and wanted to say congratulations! You are doing great, it seems & you look fantastic. I'm a year out & considering have the excess skin removal surgery performed soon, so it was nice to hear that you've done so well with it. Take it easy....and good luck in the future "loser." *grin* (I mean that in the best possible way!!!!)

Read your history. I am so happy for you. You look really good. Your comments are very helpful for ideas on what to eat etc. I just had the surgery last week. Keep up the good work. and hope I do as well. Nancy

Hey Kev, I'm still checking up on your profile! *grin* Looks like you are still doing terrific! I can't wait to see some updated pictures. I'm doing good, also! I'm down to 153 and just 35lbs from my goal weight of 117lbs. I need to update my picture as well. Keep up the good work!

Kevin - Congratulations! If I had any doubts about my upcoming surgery your updates have set me back on track! I will be having surgery 10/30/01 and I can only hope that I have the same sucess you have experienced. You look great!!!!
