Ashley, we are very close to the same age - I'm 21, had RNY when I was 19 for many of the same reasons you listed for looking into the sleeve (I'm now 2 years out and down 163 pounds and rid of all my co-morbs). I regret not getting here in time to wish you well before you left for surgery - but I wanted you to know that I'm praying for you. I pray that your surgery went well, and that you are now recovering comfortably. I pray that God blesses you with a smooth, complication free recovery followed by a life time of improved health to really make the most of the time you have with your little one. I wish you many, many wow moments and encouraging people to fill your post-op life with happiness. Congratulations on making this decision! I look forward to reading about how well you are doing with everything. WELCOME TO THE LOSER'S BENCH! :-)

Wednesday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!
