Best wishes for a smooth, complication-free surgery and recovery. May you reach your goal with lightening speed and be able to do all the things you have dreamed of doing once again. My surgery is also 1/20/04 so we can compare notes after surgery. Jo K (Illinois)

Hello Judy, well I would like to let you know that I made it to the lighter side on Nov. 18th and it was the best thing that ever happened to me."Don't fear God will be near." I don't take any blood pressure pills and my arthiritis isn't as bad especially in my lower back. Those grandkids will start saying, "grandpa you better keep an eye out on grandma". God will continue to bless you and your family.

Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).
