Jenny, So sorry to hear that you were displeased with the hospital and the follow up with Dr. Duncan. I too used the same group but Dr. Miller was my doctor. I had surgery almost a year ago and at that time they used Emory hospital. The nurses were excellent there but dietary was terrible. I have talked to many other people that have sinced used Duncans group and have been displeased with the type of care after surgery. It is a shame as he is a very skilled doctor. I know that time is of the essence but at the same time...appropriate follow up care of ones patients has to be a top priority. I wish you all the best. KimmieTN -235lbs

I've visit Jenny today and she is doing GREAT! She came home yesterday evening. Her stay at Atlanta Medical Hospital was a total let-down. The nurses do not know what they are doing and most of the time nobody even came to see about her. She did not see Dr. Duncan before or after the surgery and a strange doctor discharged her from the hospital. She will let you all know what happened once she is doing better and can email again. I just think this is really lousy bedside manner by Dr. Duncan and his staff as the staff of the hospital. These surgeries are way to expensive to have this "I don't care" attitude. My surgery is not until next year and after all of Jenny's experience I might look for another surgeon who care about his patients. The only problem Jenny has now is a lot of painful gas, but she is in a very good mood, walks around, eats broth and jello:-) All your prayers have been great and please continue praying for her recovery. I've talked to Jenny this afternoon and she is doing fine. Her surgery took a little longer since a TV station was filming her operation and now she is even a Movie Star:-) Hopefully she will continue to be fine and released tomorrow from the hospital. Hi, I'm Jenny's Angel and just need everybody to pray really hard for Jenny. She has her surgery tomorrow (10/10/02) at 12:00 noon. I've talked to her last night and she was nervous. Please pray for her and her family. I will keep everybody updated on her after the surgery has been done. Best wishes to everybody from Ulli
