I just got back from visiting Amanda and she is doing great! I stayed for quite a while and we chatted and walked the halls. I even got to have dinner with her (she ate and sipped and I drank my water!) She has such a positive attitude and wonderful personality, I wish she lived closer:) She will be on her way home tomorrow, so if you are led, please pray for safe travel and quick recovery for this beautiful lady.

I was at the BTC right after Amanda got into her room after her surgery. I had the pleasure of meeting her husband, Richard, as well as saying "Hi" to Amanda. She is coughing and breathing like a champ as well as pushing that "magic" button! She came through surgery with flying colors!! I will probably visit her tomorrow (depending on the snow!) or, for sure, Saturday.
