Nancy goes home on Tuesday. She is finally in a regular room now that her fever is gone. Evidently her pain was coming from her backside and not the surgery itself. She sounds in great spirits and happy to be going home.

Nancy, my thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. My surgery is tentatively scheduled for 5/7 at the Palms of Pasedena, and I too have a very large hernia needing repair. I will be with you in spirit, to help you over this hurdle. Mona

Nancy is still in ICU and is in lots of pain. Evidently the hernia was ulcerated which meant she had 2 major surgeries. While in ICU she developed a fever so they are keeping a close eye on her. She could use your prayers and if anyone is in the St. Petersbury, FL area perhpas you could stop by and see her at the Palm of Pasedena Hospital in ICU Room 326. Think good thoughts for Nancy, please.

Hello again, Nancy is still in ICU must looks as though they may be moving her Friday. Husband reports she is doing very, very well. She had her NG tube out today and again was mobile. The finally put her in a more comfortable bed so her back is feeling a lot better. She is really on the recovery road now!

Nancy was extubated this morning! Her husband said she was sooo happy about that. She is doing much better than last night and was even up today. She is coughing with a pillow and states being very uncomfortable in bed. Expectations are that she will be transferred to a regular room on Thursday. Keep on truckin' Nancy, you are doing fine!

Nancy is on the other side as of about 4 p.m.! I spoke with her husband this evening. Surgery was about 2 hours. He said her vital signs are all good and she doing well. She had a large hernia tended to as well. Will update Wednesday night. Congratulations Nancy!

Congratulations Nancy! Your officially on the other side. Here's wishing you a speedy recovery with no complications. I wish you the best of luck. God bless and keep you! My surgery is a week from today (3/27)...so I'll be joining you on the other side soon.
