Kelly was discharged on Saturday. She returned to the hospital today after complaining of pain on her left side. They admitted her and are running tests to determine if she has a blood clot or a pulled muscle. I will update as soon as I know more.

Angel finally reporting for duty. I've not been remiss in keeping in touch with Kelly, but have been remiss in posting here. As a mother of a first-grader experiencing his first SAT's this week and going on an all-day field trip yesterday with not one but TWO first-grade classes, this week has been a little hectic. Kelly sailed through her surgery with flying colors. She has had alot of pain though and that has somewhat limited her ability to walk as much and as often as she should. They switched her from morphine to demerol and it seems to be helping (and yes, Mr. Happy Button is her best friend). She has already done five laps around the hallways this morning, has so far tolerated ice chips and cranberry juice and had her first popsicle today. She eagerly awaits her first "meal" of jell-o. Kelly is "on the other side" and ready to soar.
