Congratulations on getting through the approval process, Your big day is next and then you will be on the losing side. Try to hang in there and stay focused and take one day at a time. Remember your AMOS friends are always here for support. 24-7~*~Hugs~*~

Surgery was moved to Monday 7/14 from Friday 7/11. *Fingers Crossed*

First, I want to lovingly thank everyone who has sent their good thoughts, supportive comments and blessings to me. On Monday, (7/7/03) I received a call from Linda, who is Dr Pearlstein's right hand. She wanted to tell me that they were going to move my surgery from this Friday (7/11) to Monday 7/14). At first I was upset, you know how you are counting and waiting for something so badly that just even the smallest change in plans can upset you. However the reason Dr Pearlstein gave was just so unreal and caring that if I had any doubts relating to this Surgeon..they were completely washed away. Apparently Dr Pearlstein was going to be away for a day and in change the day *after* my surgery. He decided although there would be other doctors on duty to take care of me Post-Op, he didnt not want to be there incase of there being any discomfort or potential problems on my side. So instead of the possibility of me being in pain and so forth without him by my side, he wants me to wait to after the weekend where I can have his undivided attention. There arent alot of other doctors out there I dont think that would be that caring and involved in their patients recovery to insist on that. With that, I am just being delayed over the weekend and will have the surgery first thing Monday, 7/14. Once again thankyou EVERYONE for all your prayers for me, my husband and for those of you who know..my 2 lil girls that are under the age of 2.5 yrs old. I will do a follow up with everyone as soon as I am able to. My love to all, Patricia:)
