Hi, I just wanted to post an update. Helen had surgery yesterday. I just spoke to her in the hospital and she sounds GREAT!. Her Lap RNY took about 2 1/2 hours. She was up and walking yesterday! She is expected to be released from the Hospital on Thursday. Wow, I still can't get over how good she sounds. Pain is undercontrol and the nurses are treating her well. I can only hope to feel as good as she does after my surgery on Thursday. This makes me feel better because we have the same surgeon & hospital. Dr. Waldrep his associate Dr. Suh and Sutter Roseville Medical Center in Roseville, CA. Way to go Helen!!

Hi Helen. Beth was my sister's name and she died in 1996 so I was able to honor her memory and name my daughter after her who was born in 1997. Just a short note to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you as you prepare for your upcoming life-changing surgery date. Please take good care of yourself and keep us updated as to your progress.
