Donna, I am really glad to hear you are doing so well, and will be coming home on Wednesday. You were right, you are coming home the same day that Sheila goes in for her surgery. You will soon find that being home is much better than being in the hospital, much more comfortable for one thing! You'll soon adjust to the new eating regime and be well on your way to becoming a "big loser". Congratulations on your successful surgery, and wishing you a speedy recovery.

I visited with Donna today and she is doing tremendously!!! She is coming home tomorrow evening.Way to go, Donna!!!!!!! She is a remarkable young woman. She will do fine in her new life. Take care and keep praying for speedy recovery. ^j^ Sheila

I was so surprised tonight to hear from Donna herself. She sounded really great and said her pain was minimal. All of her tubes are removed and she sounded very positive. Way to Go, Donna!!!!! After my Teaching and Testing I plan on going to the hospital to meet this couragious woman. I'm so glad things are going so well now. The first 3 days were pretty tough. Donna has a great attitude which I'm sure helps her maintain being so positive. I'll keep everyone posted after I visit her. God Bless ((((hugs))) your angel ^j^, Sheila

Donna: I saw Sheila's message saying that you were having quite a bit of pain, sleeping alot,and the doctor was going to be increasing your medication. That was yesterday, so I hope things are looking up today. The thing to remember is that it WILL get better, and then you are off to a whole new healthier life. Hang in there. You are in my prayers.

Hey Donna!! Sure was nice talking to you... I will pray for a speedy recovery!! and for that pain medication to start working faster!! Just remember to follow your doctors orders and you will be fine!! Talk to you soon!!

Donna is having her share of pain. She says they are going to increase her meds today. She mostly is just sleeping. Said the staff and Doc are treating her fine. Pray for a speedy recovery and release from her pain. Hang in there Donna, your ^j^ Sheila

I just got off the phone talking to Donna's nurse and she said Donna has been up walking once already today. Seems to be moving around in bed comfortably. She got back to her room around 12:30 from surgery. She is in room #1257 at Avera Mckennan Hospital. I hope to be able to get up to see her tomorrow depending on a pending sore throat I started having today. Wouldn't want anything to interfere with her recovery. Everyone say a little prayer for her tonight and ((((hugs)))) to donna :) Your ^j^, Sheila
