Hi, I could say don't be nervous but what's the point? OF COURSE you're nervous; I was. I always say the week before surgery was worse than the week after (for me anyway). Man, those nerves will get to you. Just stay positive and keep ONLY positive people around you. Truly. The 13th of January is my 7 month anniversay! And I'm down 98 lbs. (maybe 100 by then) Anyway, it was a great decision for me and I'm sure it will be great for you too. The results of this surgery are nothing short of amazing (I'm still in shock). I hope all your weight-loss and good health dreams come true..... Best Wishes,

Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).

I wanted to wish you well with your upcoming surgery. I hope that all goes well and that you are up and out and about real soon. I'll bet you are are doing a happy dance accompanied by a bundle of unwanted "NERVES", but don't worry be HAPPY! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Good Luck!
