Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! RNY 10/31/03 – down 90 pounds!!! Good luck!

Hi Julie, Good luck with your revision tomorrow and hope you have an uneventful surgery & a quick & smooth recovery! Keep positive thoughts of how good your going to feel in the months to come. Your daughter is a cutie pie...I have two boys, 3 & 2 yrs. We're surgery sisters, I'm having surgery the same day...tomorrow 7am! Take care & keep me posted!

Hi Julie, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck I was. Of course it was for nothing (except I burned a few more calories) because my surgery went just fine. I had soreness afterwards and frankly, my back hurt worse than my incision. For me, the week before surgery was worse than the week after. Remember to keep it positive. That includes keeping only positive people around because before surgery we are so sensitive to every comment people make. It will be just fine. I hope all your health and weight loss dreams come true,

Julie, it is so nice to hear from someone having surgery the same day as I am. We also have something else in common, we have both been through fertility treatments. I wish you the best with your revision, I too have the same fears as you, not having the surgery work and letting myself down. Keep up your spirits and smile, you are worth it. JoyLyn
